Who am I? --->
I'm an artist. I'm a student (now and
always). I'm a writer. I'm a costumer. I'm old enough that all
the interesting milestones --like voting, drinking, renting a
car-- are past, but I'm young enough to still be having fun. My
plan is to stay “young enough” forever.
I got my undergrad degree from UC San Diego
in '05; then after almost 4 years in the work force and losing a
really good video game marketing job due to corporate merger, I
decided maybe it was time for a change-- time to pursue the
career I'd always wanted but hadn't had enough confidence to go
after.
Now I'm back in school part time, working
on my master's and freelancing simultaneously, offering my
creative skills to anyone who needs them.
In my free time –what little I have of it--
I write, make costumes, dabble in leather-working, play video
games and research anything that peeks my interest from sideshow
history to steampunk fashion to urban decay.
At the moment, I'm living in San Diego,CA
in a beautiful condo with green, purple, red and 'toasted wheat'
walls that we're doing our best to fill with all kinds of art. I
live with my girlfriend of seven years, our snarky but
affectionate cat, a nasty but adorable bearded dragon, a beta
fish and 4 marimo.
What can I do for you? --->
While I'm pursuing my dream career, I'm
filling up my time with as much experience and as many projects
as I can. I'm currently taking commissions for a variety of
things, from illustration to costume work. With a broad spectrum
of experience in different media and knowledge of varied
illustrative styles, I am open and enthusiastic about meeting
the needs of each person interested in working with me. I am
always willing to discuss any project, whatever the subject or
request and I make a point to work closely with my customers to
make sure that what I'm making is just as they wanted it.
I'm available for: character design;
illustration in pen/ink, watercolor or digital; short comics;
fan-art or original; anime-styled drawings; fan badges; costume
accessories; cosplay outfits; fantasy/sci-fi costumes; other
sewing projects; simple leather-work; hand-painting/decorating
any item of your choice from USB drives to book covers to
clothing/fabric
If you're curious about a project but
aren't sure if it's something I can do, ask! I'm always up for
trying new things and if it's something I've never done before,
I'll offer you a good deal. Let's talk! |
